English, to me, is not just a subject—it's a powerful medium of expression, comprehension, and transformation. With this belief at the core of my teaching philosophy, I am writing to express my sincere interest in the English Teacher position at your esteemed institution.

I hold a B.A. (Hons) in English from the University of Delhi, which laid a strong literary and linguistic foundation. My academic journey was further enhanced through my postgraduate studies in Library and Information Science (BLIS and MLIS), also from Delhi University. While these degrees focused on information management, they significantly deepened my engagement with English literature, research methodology, and critical reading strategies—skills I now pass on to my students to strengthen their analytical and communication abilities.

Currently, at Lord Jesus Public School in Gurgaon, I serve as an English instructor, where I’ve had the privilege of shaping the language skills of students across various age groups. My teaching method is rooted in clarity, creativity, and cultural context. I focus not only on grammar and vocabulary, but also on cultivating an appreciation for literature, effective communication, and confident public speaking.

What sets my approach apart is my ability to link literary understanding with real-world communication. I integrate research skills, structured reading practices, and literary analysis to enhance both written and spoken English. My background in library science uniquely complements my English instruction, enabling students to access, evaluate, and use information effectively—an essential skill in today’s academic and professional landscape.
